Remember your first NFL Game?

Baby James,

Remember your first NFL game? September 1st, 2011 - preseason game - Miami vs. Dallas (17 to 3 victory by the Dolphins). Uncle Harrison joined us on this adventure and we headed off to Sun Life Stadium. As we arrived the South Florida music was blasting and we pulled into our parking lot (the Purple lot). As we walked through the pregame festivities, momma thought it would be great to get your picture with a few of the Dolphins cheerleaders...

Notice how you subtly laid your head?? Yes, this is 9 months old and you had game, even then. After this hilarious picture, we walked into the game to meet daddy on the field. You LOVED everything about the stadium - the lights, the sounds, the turf, and yes, the cheerleaders! You even spontaneously started working on your 3 pt stance with daddy on the field!
Daddy loved this!

After pregame, we went to our seats and daddy went to the box to work. Mom's lap wasn't nearly as much fun as the field and cheerleaders so with 3:00 minutes left in the 1st quarter, we (mom and baby) headed home.

It was a wonderful experience and you had a blast. We are so blessed and excited for you that this is a life you are going to get to grow up in. Here's to many more NFL games and hopefully many more win's for Daddy's team!!!

Moving on..

Well, as some of you know, John has accepted a job to be a scouting assistant with the Miami Dolphins! We are packin' up and headed south to Ft. Lauderdale in the next few weeks and are SO excited for a new adventure. I am still looking for jobs but know something will work out very soon. Any suggestions on activities for families, restaurants to try and places to visit in South Florida, please share! As it seems apparent with football, we never know how long we'll be in one place and living in a place this exciting, we are going to try to take advantage of everything there we can!! Happy Weekend to all!!
